ATE Brake Training: Stay ahead through knowledge

Qualified employees are the most important asset of any garage which wants to successfully maintain and improve their market share in an increasingly competitive market. It is a fact that well-trained mechanics find faults more quickly and carry out their work more efficiently. This, in turn, improves the profitability of the garage, reduces the number of complaints received and improves customer satisfaction. This is especially important for work carried out on brake systems as brake repairs are relevant to safety and are among the most important profit earners for independent garages.

Practice-oriented training

Regular training is not a luxury but is, in fact, the only way of preparing staff for the increasingly sophisticated operations which have to be performed on modern brake systems. The TrainingCenter offers a comprehensive range of training courses for this purpose. The course topics range from the fundamentals of mechanical brake components right through to the troubleshooting of complex electronic controllers on modern vehicles. Along with standard courses on common topics in the field of brake technology, it is also possible to create special training programs by combining various modules. The content and schedule of all training courses are based on practical requirements. Along with the teaching of theoretical concepts major emphasis is placed on carrying out practical exercises on functional models and vehicles. This allows the course participants to be able to immediately apply the knowledge they have acquired to practical troubleshooting.

Knowledge that is always up-to-date

The ATE brake training courses have a modular design and are taught by experienced trainers. The practical experience of garages and new knowledge from the development department and original equipment division are incorporated directly into the training content on an ongoing basis. The range of training courses is also continuously adapted to the current legal requirements and to developments in automotive technology. This is why for garages that want to "stay on the ball" it is beneficial to send staff, periodically, to repeat a course in order to keep up-to-date with new developments.

The range of ATE training courses is not only targeted at automotive mechanics. There are interesting training opportunities for service advisors, sales advisors from the wholesale trade or teachers from vocational schools.

Special program for ATE Brake Centers

A special, free training program is available to ATE BrakeCenters. With courses on topics such as brake hydraulics and mechanical brake components, servicing and repair of modern brake systems, electrical fundamentals of ABS systems and troubleshooting of electronic brake and control systems, they have an outstanding opportunity to improve their specialist skills. This allows ATE BrakeCenters to strengthen their market position and improve their market share.

Training in Eschborn or on site

The ATE brake training courses are held in the modern TrainingCenter in Eschborn. There are also permanent training sites in Italy and France. In addition, the team of the TrainingCenter is highly flexible and, upon request, is able to carry out modular training courses on site anywhere in the world.
