TecIdentify & tesa Holospot® -
individual & tamperproof TecIdentify is a self-contained security system which generates heavily encrypted number sequences for separate parts. Accordingly, each separate product package features an individual security code which, in addition to the barcode, also contains the serial number and is additionally applied to the package as a 2D barcode. This allows the code to be checked either using a conventional 2D barcode scanner, a mobile phone with integrated camera or via keyboard input on the Internet. In particular, this makes product traceability in the logistics chain more efficient. The characteristics of the tesa Holospot® from tesa scribos® also ensure optimal protection against forgery and copying. The last 4 digits of the TecIdentify code can be a verified with the naked eye on the shimmering Holospot lithogram. Other features can be checked using a standard magnifying glass. As well as visible characteristics, the tesa Holospot® also features concealed characteristics. ATE has introduced a new generation of laser magnifying glasses to allow the concealed data to be read out easily. The tesa Holospot® is attached to the product label in a tamperproof manner and has been optimally integrated in the design of the packaging. Any attempt at modification or copying will be in vain because only tesa scribos® is in possession of the technology required to do so. This makes the protection system even more effective and increases the versatility of the security label. The validity of a TecIdentify security code can be checked by means of a barcode query. Furthermore, the authenticity of the security label – and thus of the product – can also be checked without Internet access by means of the tesa Holospot® characteristics. Links
