Barcode scanning with TecIdentify It is possible to identify ATE branded products as genuine replacement parts with 100% certainty: Every product package includes an individual security code which can either be checked using a barcode scanner or through manual input. Make use of TecIdentify - the tool for checking the authenticity of replacement parts. Barcode scanners If you wish to check the authenticity of your ATE Original Products using a scanner, we recommend the use of Pepperl+Fuchs 2D barcode scanners. Further scanners are currently being tested. As a general rule, all 2D barcode scanners which support GS1 codes should also work properly. Mobile phone scanning It is also possible to check the authenticity of your ATE Original Products using a mobile phone. You will need an Internet-capable mobile phone (WAP, UMTS, GPRS, …) with integrated camera. The mobile phone software can be obtained free of charge from NeoReader. See get.neoreader.com for more information on compatible mobile phones.Procedure: To install the software, open the Internet browser of your mobile phone and type in the URL www.neoreader.com/pc.html.
